Those who choose to put on the sandals of peace proclaim the gospel of peace. Jesus came to make peace between man and God through His sacrifice of Himself proving God’s love for people. 1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. Does this part of the armor of God mentioned in the Old testament? Yes it does. Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Nahum 1:15 Behold, on the mountains The feet of him who brings good tidings, Who proclaims peace! O Judah, keep your appointed feasts, Perform your vows. For the wicked one shall no more pass through you; He is utterly cut off.
There just so happens that this part of the armor is mentioned in the Beatitudes. Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God. Have you heard this gospel preached before? Have you heard the good tidings of great joy that Jesus has made you right in the sight of God? The true gospel did not come by word only, but the demist ration of God’s power as he cannot deny His word. 1 Thessalonians 1:5 For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake. What I have determined, this is my option, the true gospel is the revelation of Jesus Christ. Who He is and what He has done. He paid for our sins so we are free from what we were bound too. Galatians 1:11 But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. 12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.
This video is probably the best explanation of what the gospel of peace really is. Be blessed friends
