There is a new and living way, but many in the church won’t even find the way or will refuse to live by it. This new and living way is contrary to what this world teaches, and sadly most of what the church teaches. The new and living way is in the scriptures for all to discover, but as it is written in Proverbs, “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.”
Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
This new and living way is Jesus. Most will agree with this, We don’t live for Jesus, but rather through Him. Jesus gave us this example as He lived through Father. Philip couldn’t understand this as most today can’t. You can’t live through Jesus in the flesh. Instead, you live through Him in the spirit. This can only be done by faith. Living through Jesus by faith is not a one-off thing to try and test to see if this works. It’s a lifestyle. You will not see things happen for a while, but persistence always pays off. Do you understand that it’s not about saying a prayer, but instead being born again in water to remove sin and then being born of the spirit which is of the Kingdom? Understand why Jesus said, “The words I speak are spirit and they are life.” The way is through Jesus, the door. The truth is in the spirit of the Kingdom. Life is also in the spirit as Jesus is a life-giving spirit.
Galatians 5:24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
I want to share with you what I just got from the Holy Spirit as I was about to write this. 1 Timothy 1:5 says that the commandment is love from a pure heart, good conscience, and a sincere faith. He tells me that love is a fruit of the spirit. Then it hits me. To stay in the spirit we must live from a pure heart, good conscience, and a sincere faith. It’s these three things is that will keep us in the spirit and not in the flesh. Paul had learned this and was sharing with Timothy his experiences. I hope this blesses you as it blessed me. Be blessed, my friends
1 Timothy 1:5 Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Hebrews 10:15 But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before, 16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” 17 then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” 18 Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin. 19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
