My Father is not the One who has given you fear. Fear came in after Adam ate from the tree. You notice that Adam was afraid, hiding from God because he was naked. This is what fear will do to you. Fear keeps you away from God. Even going as far as questioning what God is doing. God has given us power, love, and a sound mind. God is love, He has given us His love, Jesus, who is perfect in love. If you decide to live from Jesus, perfect love, the spirit, perfect love casts out fear. It’s from perfect love that we get this power and His Name is Jesus.
Genesis 3:10 So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” 11 And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?”
2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
The spirit of fear will make people do crazy things. Look at the signs of these times. You can see the spirit of fear everywhere. It will make rational people do irrational things. Have you ever noticed that when people are in fear there is no peace? Jesus is the King of peace. When a Christian gets squeezed with fear, does Christ come out of them, or the spirit of fear? You will know what a person is like by what comes out of them in tough situations.
Matthew 16:2 He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; 3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.
Fear is a very controlling spirit. It will hinder your walk with the Lord. Most people, including most Christians, are controlled by the spirit of fear rather than the spirit of God. There is no love in fear. Fear is a tormenting spirit. On the other hand, those who walk in the spirit of God, led by the spirit of God, are sons of God. You will know a tree, a person by their actions, by what fruit they produce. Be blessed, my friends
