His Mercy Endures Forever

My Father’s mercy does endure forever for those who love Him. Everything that you go through in this world is a test of that love. He always gives us a way of escape, but we must find that way. It’s not something that is just handed to you. If you search for that way, you will find it if you search with all your heart. My Father doesn’t want robots. He doesn’t want people to love Him for what they can get from Him. He wants His people to love Him for who He is.

Psalms 136:1 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Understanding mercy over judgment will go a long way in your walk with the Lord. It’s His mercy that will follow you all of your days. The mercy that He has given you, you get to give it away to anyone you desire. Remember, the mercy you show to people will be measured back to you. From the heart is where mercy flows. This is why God loves a cheerful giver, it comes from the heart. Jesus quoted the prophet Hosea by saying, “Go and learn what this means, I desire mercy and not sacrifice.” Sacrifice tends to lean towards giving something to get something. I offer this lamb to be forgiven. When it comes to mercy, you give it away expecting nothing in return. By doing so, Father is the one who gets to reward you. This is an amazing place to live from.

Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.

2 Corinthians 9:6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

Matthew 9:13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

In the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus showed that loving your neighbor as yourself is showing mercy on your neighbor. Jesus said, “Go and do likewise.” Be blessed, my friends

Luke 10:29 But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” 30 Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. 33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. 34 So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ 36 So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?37 And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?
