Once Christians realize that their faith is based on their hearts, everything will change. All the issues of life come out of the heart. What you speak comes from your heart. Life is in the blood that the heart pumps. Everything that has to do with Christianity has to do with the heart, It’s from the heart you believe unto righteousness.
Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Many Christians don’t realize that to enter into the spirit is through the heart. It is the circumcision of the heart in the spirit that you live from if you live in the spirit. Have you ever noticed that you did something and later regretted it? It was your carnal mind telling you to do something, but it was your heart convicting you. This is the war between flesh and spirit. If the enemy can get you to live from what you think rather than your heart, doing what is good and what is right, then he has conquered you.
Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; 29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.
Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be fleshly minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the fleshly mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
One important factor regarding the heart is that rivers of living water flow from the heart. When you speak to the mountains in your life, it will move when you speak from the heart in the spirit. This is done by faith. If the mountain doesn’t move, faith is not there. Paul told us about strongholds in the mind. We are to pull them down and make them obedient to Christ. Christ’s way of thinking is as we have the mind of Christ. Nothing will be impossible for you when this whole package is put together in your life. Be blessed, my friends

2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
