Royalty is something that many would not associate the Kingdom of God with. One thing that Peter did mention is that we are a royal priesthood. Also, Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and we serve the King. King is royalty. We serve a Holy King. Not only that, we have the Holy Spirit living inside us making us holy. What this boils down to is; if you are a son of the living God, you are royalty.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Revelation 19:16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

Many do not see themselves as royalty, but rather see themselves as weak, not good enough, not worthy enough to be a son here on earth. They classify themselves as sinners saved by grace. Living under the law and yet, proclaiming Jesus. Being a sinner, you still see yourself under the law, and not under grace. It is by grace you have been saved through grace. That grace came through Jesus Christ.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of Godnot of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Another thing that comes from being royalty is the bloodline. If you are born again into Christ, you are now in that bloodline. Look at Matthew 1 and Luke 3. Both bloodlines are the same until David. The bloodline splits into two with Bathsheba. In Matthew, the bloodline is through Solomon. In Luke, the bloodline goes through Solomon’s brother Nathan. The bloodline unites when Mary and Joseph are united. Being united as one with Jesus, we are part of the royal family, and get to partake in everything that heaven has to offer if you only believe. Be blessed, my friends.

Matthew 1:5 Salmon begot Boaz by Rahab, Boaz begot Obed by Ruth, Obed begot Jesse, and Jesse begot David the king. David the king begot Solomon by her who had been the wife of UriahSolomon begot Rehoboam, Rehoboam begot Abijah, and Abijah begot Asa.

Luke 3:31 the son of Melea, the son of Menan, the son of Mattathahthe son of Nathan, the son of David32 the son of Jesse, the son of Obed, the son of Boaz, the son of Salmon, the son of Nahshon,

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
