Everything in this life flows out of our relationship with Jesus. If your relationship is one of a concubine where all you do is pray, or once in a while spend time with Him and pick up the scriptures to do your daily devotion. Is this the kind of relationship you have with someone you love? Let me ask you a question. Does this sound like someone you are in love with or you are brushing up to? The greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with ALL your heart, with ALL your soul, with ALL your mind and ALL your strength. How do you approach your relationship with Him, as a concubine or a bride?

Matthew 22:36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

All of life’s circumstances are designed to get you out of that relationship. Even to the point of questioning or leaving that relationship. Can you see the strategies that come against you and what they are designed to do? Don’t be unaware of the enemies devices that he uses against you. God already proved His love for us by sending His Son to die on a cross to get you back. He has given you free will to choose to accept or reject His offer of love. It doesn’t matter what this world does to you or the ones closest to you. What matters is what Jesus has done. This will be your legacy for eternity whether you believe Him or not.

2 Corinthians 2:11 lest satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

The greatest gift you can every give God is your life. It’s your free will to lay your life down for your friend Jesus or not. There are two things that Jesus spoke most about. The first is obvious, the Kingdom. He spoke what excited Him. To be in eternity with His bride. This brings up the second subject that He most spoke about. This one is hidden, but when you understand everything, it makes sense. He spoke about the wedding. We are joined to Jesus as a husband and a wife are joined right now. In Galilean culture, the groom goes away to his fathers house and prepares to receive his bride. The bride prepares herself for the groom to return to receive her. The time for the grooms return is set by the grooms father for this to happen. During the wedding ceremony before the groom goes to his fathers house to prepare a place for her, the father of the groom reads the covenant between the two. The groom pours wine into a cup and offers it to the bride. She can accept or reject his offer. If she accepts, she drinks of the wine and the grooms drinks as well. Then the groom declares that he will not drink of the fruit of the wine until she drinks it with him in his father house.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I pray that this will help you understand that if you are born again and accept Jesus, you are married to Him. You now have His Name and get to exercise His Name as a bride takes on her husbands name. All we are doing now is preparing ourselves like the 5 wise virgins for His coming to take us to the feast. If you don’t prepare yourself and you pass away, what you have done before speaks if you were prepared or not. Be blessed my friends.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Matthew 25:6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. 11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
