There is something brewing in the horizon. It’s something this earth has not seen for a very long time. If people don’t change their ways, they will be left behind. If the church today doesn’t mirror the early church, they will be left behind.
Hebrews 12:25 See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, 26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” 27 Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.
The climate in the church today has to be radically changed. If the people who attend church don’t look like Jesus, act like Jesus, speak like Jesus, who then are you following. The Apostle’s were commanded to make disciples of all nations. A disciple is to be like his teacher. If you aren’t like Jesus, who is discipling you? Do they look like Jesus? This is why the words in the scriptures are written so you don’t deviate from what a disciple looks like.
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
Luke 6:40 A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.
People are beginning to wake up to this change in climate in the church. The young people especially are seeing what is real and what is fake. Jesus is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword. If there is no evidence of Jesus in your life, do you have Him? I am not talking about signs and wonders here. What I am talking about is peace. You will know a tree by it’s fruit. When a situation comes against you, are you frustrated or in peace? From out of the heart the mouth speaks. You can tell if these people’s life are built on the rock which is Jesus, or built on sand, the cares of this world.
Matthew 7:24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. 26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
This blog is not to condemn you, but to show you that we all need to keep growing in Christ. He is our great example of life. We all need to be ready for His return. If you are or not, and you pass away, you life lived speaks if you were ready for His return or not. I plead with you my friends, be ready. Be blessed my friends.
Luke 12:36 and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. 37 Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them. 38 And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 39 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 40 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
