You Have A Choice To Make

Life is all about choices. There are two choices that every Christian makes. The first one is obvious, choosing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savor. They are baptized into the Name of the Lord Jesus and accepting His offer to be a husband to them. This might seem kind of freaky for us guys, but we must accepted Him to be the husband in our relationship with Him.

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Jeremiah 31:32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord.

The second choice we have as Christians is to choose to either live from the flesh or live from the spirit. Living from your flesh is probably the most difficult way to live. There’s a constant battle between your flesh and the spirit. The enemy we face can only come against your flesh, so we are always concerning ourselves with the cares of this world. This does choke the spirit and make it unfruitful.

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

Matthew 13:22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

What started this blog for me was when the Lord spoke to me and said, “You know that the Name of Jesus is spiritual right? When you command anything in the Name of Jesus it will move when you command in the spirit.” When you pray for anything, if it doesn’t happen, you are praying from the wrong place. Faith is of the spirit. When you choose to live from the spirit, nothing will be impossible for you. Life and peace are of the spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

1 Corinthians 12:9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,

Matthew 17:20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Romans 8:6 For to be fleshly minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Peter proved this life in the spirit is more powerful than anything on earth. Life in the spirit is in the Name of Jesus. When you speak in the Name of Jesus, you are speaking life and peace to every situation. Peter spoke to the lame man by the gate beautiful telling him that the spirit of life that is in Christ Jesus I have and I give this life to you, in the Name of Jesus get up and walk.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Acts 3:2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

Acts 3:12 So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? 16 And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

John 17:12 While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name, which You have given Me; and I guarded them, and not one of them perished except the son of destruction, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all . Be blessed my friends
